Max Rootsmäe is a 23-  year-old actor and writer,  based in  Estonia.

Max studied BA(Hons) Acting and Performance at the University for the Creative Arts Farnham, graduating in 2022. During his years in the school, he got the chance to play a variety of roles on stage like Malvolio in "Twelfth Night", Kent in "Reasons to be Pretty" and "Attempts On Her Life" directed by Sepy Baghaei.  He has written his own play "I Was Born With the Sun", which got selected by Eesti Teatri Agentuur to be in a mentorship program under a well-known playwright Urmas Lennuk . On screen, he had the opportunity to work with film students, acting in different dramas and comedies. He portrayed a variety of characters, some with different descents like Russian or American.
